Places to pause
I am drawn to landscapes with a path, a road, or a river leading into the distance. Places like these awaken my curiosity and give me the feeling that there is always something waiting beyond the next bend. In these paintings, I try not only to capture a landscape, but also the sense of peace and space that I experience there myself. Perhaps they invite the viewer to do the same.
