- The mini exposition 'Outside in Bavaria' shows the results of a two week painting trip through Bavaria in southern Germany. On show are paintings of mountains, lakes, fields and historical German towns. Together they capture the atmosphere of the region.

Alpine landscape with trees
2026These trees, against the backdrop of the mountains, caught my attention several times during my stay at Schwangau, Bavaria, Germany. I could not resist painting them.
Statue at Linderhof palace, Bavaria, Germany
2026Linderhof castle is one of the palaces of the Bavarian King Ludwig II. It has an impressive statue garden. To my surprise one can paint there. I was inspired by this statue leading us into the shadowed path.

Neuschwanstein castle
2026Although this painting has been made near Neuschwanstein castle, the fairytale castle of the Bavarian king Ludwig II, this painting is really about the light on the mountain, less about the castle. It mainly shows the impressiveness of the castle's location. We only see a glimpse of the castle from afar.
